The transformation at the Orleans County Fairgrounds continues as the new horse barn moves into its final stages of construction. It's rewarding to see this important community project coming together after months of planning and hard work.
Our crew at JP Sicard, Inc. has been proud to provide the sitework and infrastructure for this project, helping prepare the foundation for a facility that will serve the fairgrounds for many years to come. Recent milestones include the installation of water hydrants throughout the barn and other key infrastructure needed to support daily operations.
Working alongside the talented Amish craftsmen, we've watched this project take shape into a first-class facility that will benefit exhibitors, horse owners, and fairgoers alike.
As construction wraps up, the project also marks the end of an era with the removal of the final remaining section of the original horse barns, a respectful farewell to a piece of Orleans County Fair history while making way for a modern replacement.
We're honored to have been part of this project and look forward to celebrating its completion with the community during the upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony.
At JP Sicard, we're proud to help build projects that strengthen our communities - not just roads and bridges, but places where people gather, compete, and create lasting memories.
