 J.P. Sicard, Inc. has openings in the following positions. We need safety minded, team workers who have previous site construction experience. Must be dependable and possess strong work ethics. Our projects are statewide, so a willingness to travel is needed. Retirement plan, dental and disability insurance are available.
Project Manager
We are looking for a team player with excellent coordination and communication skills to be responsible for managing multiple projects while maintaining profitability. Must possess ability to manage all phases of construction from estimating to project close-out. Must have a positive approach with support staff, customers and subcontractors alike. Ability to prepare and maintain submittals and shop drawings is needed. Computer knowledge a plus!
Supervisor
This is a working Supervisor position, meaning this person will work alongside their crew on the jobsite. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must execute daily logs and time sheets and conduct safety meetings. Work closely with the project manager daily on job progress and schedule. Will forecast potential conflicts prior to the project being effected. Responsible for coordinating all work with subcontractors, suppliers and equipment needs. Computer skills a plus.
Foreman
Will be a working Foreman position, coordinating day to day operations. Must have sitework and utility experience. Must be knowledgeable and skilled with use of grades and blueprint reading. Will work directly with the Supervisor. Excellent written and verbal communications are required. Must keep daily logs, time sheets and conduct safety meetings. Foreman will provide employee time and maintenance logs to Superintendent.
Truck Drivers
Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Must have a Class A or B Commercial Drivers License. Perform day to day maintenance of vehicle and equipment. Must keep accurate time sheets, material load counts and vehicle maintenance records.
Equipment Operators
Must be a team worker having proven experience in commercial and residential sitework, highway, bridge and underground utility construction. Will perform daily maintenance of vehicle and equipment. Will keep accurate time sheets and maintenance records of equipment.
Laborers
We are seeking dependable laborers for our projects. You are required to be on time and ready to work everyday. Use of a shovel and other hand tools will be required. Will be responsible for reporting your time to the Foreman or Supervisor. Valid drivers license preferred, and construction experience is a plus.
