In 1996 Jason Sicard as a proprietorship started up the company mainly performing subcontract work. Subcontracts were done on Vermont Agency of Transportation (VAOT) projects for general contractors. On July 1, 1998 Sicard Construction was incorporated under the laws of the State of Vermont being named J.P. Sicard, Inc. The company then expanded the client base and scope of work to include working on U.S. highways, streets, bridges and town projects as a general contractor. From 1999 to present, J.P. Sicard, Inc. has grown substantially and are now recognized as an experienced, reputable contractor.
